A lot of my clients complain of fatigue, no energy, exhaustion, just can’t move, and the list goes on. I ask them to think of their energy as a bank account. If your bank account is full you can pay your bills, buy you favorite coffee drink, go on vacation, and do all the things you need to and want to in your life. We go to work every day to exchange our time for money to fill that bank to meet our needs and wants. Our body is the same, every morning I wake up an hour before I must start my day, that hour is spent filling my energy bank account, I listen to music frequencies, binaural beats, such as 432hz, 639, 528hz. There are a lot of studies done on sound healing. As I listen, I may just focus on my breath work, there are many different types you can try to find one that works for you, I may journal, write down what you want your day to be like, imagine everyone at work cooperative and happy to see you your clients listening and being excited about your ideas, you get the idea, put your ideal day into your reality by speaking in to it. While I’m doing this I may enjoy a hot tea with lemon or an organic coffee. Then I do some stretching or rebounding on my rebounder, gentle movement to wake up the body no rushing, just a ten minute routine. Try connecting with your higher power and asking for peace and harmony throughout the day, recite three things you are grateful for and try this for twenty-one days straight see how quickly your life, your energy, and how different the world shifts around you.
I had this one client she is in an unhappy marriage has five kids and a demanding job. She’s overweight, depressed, and feels trapped, she goes to a therapist and still nothing has changed for her because she refuses to let go and move on, the therapist and I both agree that leaving her unhappy marriage would start the healing process, peace and harmony have to exist as your foundation for you to find healing. You can’t build a home on a decaying foundation and expect to be energetic and full of life if you are not supported. So many of us are stuck holding on to relationships, careers, and unhappy or unhealthy habits for fear of the unknown, the subconscious doesn’t like change even if it’s positive so many remain stuck. When was the last time you put yourself first? When did you do something just for you? How can you keep demanding your body perform after throwing junk food, and energy drinks, and bad relationships a it? When are you going to realize you are in the drivers seat, the directors chair and take back your own power? If you have children you must lead by example, they need to see you taking care of yourself, so they know how to do it. You don’t want to have them grow up and allow their partners to treat them poorly or sacrifice everything for their children. You have to bring balance into the picture, start slow, one thing at a time, like an hour a day of something to fill up your energy bank. Really look at the people you surround yourself with, are they happy and fulfilled in their lives? Are they always self-medicating with food or alcohol or are they feeding their soul with movement and healthy lifestyles. We are what we eat, drink, and think. Every person in my life is healthy, happy, growing, educating, joyful, and balanced. From my clients to the practitioners, I work with and that’s because they are a reflection of me and the work I’m putting in, we are all perfectly imperfect and we have to practice being our very best every day.
Go outside, everyday and place your feet in the dirt and breath feel the positive flowing from the earth into your whole body. If you live in a high rise or city, get a box of really clean dirt and stand in it every day. Go to the water feel nature all around you enjoy the sun, early morning twenty minutes is a great way to soak in some vitamin D.
Your energy bank account is empty how are you going to fill it up? Who are you going to give your hundred dollar bills to? Instead of complaining and continuing to repeat your same routine try to switch it up for twenty one days, see how different you feel, the first few days will feel awkward and foreign but that will shift as you practice giving yourself positive actions. Give yourself permission to be happy. See how different the world around you becomes. If you keep repeating the old phrases of, I’m exhausted, I can’t move, my life is a mess, then nothing will change. If you change to gratitude and phrases like I am happy, I am growing I am full of energy while you start exercising, drinking more water, and eating a healthier diet the body will come alive and your energy banks will be full. Bring your partner into the practice teach your children discipline and structure by being disciplined and structured in your life. This is your new story and it’s time to let go of your old one where you were always bankrupt and depleted now you are rich with an abundance of energy and love to give to those things and people that deserve it.
